Hiring a stall on Riverbank Market
- We will commence with a 4-day trading week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
- Rents start at only £12.50 plus vat for Mondays and Wednesdays and £16.67 plus vat for Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate the initial transition period.
- Rents will rise to original rates of £15 plus vat for Mondays and Wednesdays and £20 plus vat for Fridays and Saturdays at the end of September.
- Easy loading and unloading access and regimes.
- Riverbank Market will be supported by the new Riverbank Foodhall and Restaurant
- Toilets within Riverbank Foodhall and Restaurant, which also homes a butcher, florist, restaurant etc.
- A dedicated market management site based team will be onsite at all times to operate and promote the market.
Provision for between 25 and 30 pop-up stalls
Riverbank Market will be made up of 3 x 3m pop-up gazebos and permanent food kiosks, meaning the layout can change accordingly to suit event criteria, with space to grow in the coming years.
Riverbank Market will reflect investment in Rochdale and be of a very high quality. Riverbank Market branded gazebos will be provided and erected by market management into floor anchors. Stalls will also benefit from lighting and heating providing an enhanced trader and shopper experience.
The best spot in Rochdale town centre
Our central site is in a prime spot to take advantage of footfall coming from the transport hub and the forthcoming 200,000 sq ft retail and leisure centre complex. The complex will include, 24 shops, restaurants and a six screen cinema. Riverbank Market is exceptionally well served by an adjacent taxi rank and very close to the tram stop and bus station.The market design links shoppers from the town centre to the new leisure and shopping development.
